Senior Vice President, Design & Construction
James Hackett has responsibility for Shopping Center Design and Construction. Jim manages the design, engineering and contractors for The Goodman Company projects. Jim's team includes Project Management, Site Supervision, CAD Design Departments and Tenant Coordination Departments. Jim personally is involved in all aspects of the entitlement process on new projects to obtain approvals for construction working with city, county and federal agencies having jurisdiction.
Prior to joining The Goodman Company, Jim was Senior Vice President of Construction for Equity Property and Development, Chicago, IL; a retail development company that created 48 million SF of retail shopping centers during his tenure, and Vice President of Construction for The Mills Corporation. Jim graduated from The University of Cincinnati, and has been in retail construction and development for over 27 years.
