Gary Housman has been with The Goodman Company since September 2005, and as Vice President of Development is currently overseeing the development of 900,000 square feet of retail space within the Southeastern United States. He is responsible for land acquisition, managing the development process and negotiating/securing anchor tenant leases.
Gary has worked in retail development since 1997 on both the owner and user sides of the retail real estate business. He has a Finance Undergraduate Degree from the University of Florida and a Master's of Science in Real Estate from New York University. His career began with Jacksonville, Florida based Regency Centers in their build-to-suit department and later as a Real Estate Manager with the Ahold USA subsidiary, BI-LO Supermarkets. At BI-LO, Gary managed the real estate development issues for new and existing stores in North Carolina and portions of South Carolina.
